Consulation Requirements
Pet Sitting Consultation (overnight and drop-ins visit bookings): I MUST meet with you and your pet before we fully book the sit. We will go over what is required of me during the sit and establish if it is going to be a good fit between me and your pet. You know your pet best, if something seems off during the meeting, PLEASE consider your pet's feelings before mine and tell me whether or not you think I will be the right sitter for your animal.
Babysitting Consultation: For date night bookings, I do not require that we meet a day before unless that is what you prefer as the parent. As the sitter, I do require 15 minutes of your time before you plan to leave your home for me to make myself familiar with the house and ask any necessary questions I may find helpful for the sit (ex: I have found it extremely useful to know where families keep their paper towels for potential spills).
Babysitting Consultation: For full-day bookings, I would prefer to meet with you and your family a different day before you are able to fully book with me. In a full-day booking consultation, we would go over feeding times, what the kid(s) plan to eat, what their play time looks like, bedtime routine (if necessary), etc. If it is not possible to meet before booking, this would need to be discussed when booking, and YOU must allot a minimum of 15 minutes for me to come early before you plan to leave to give me the lay of the land.
Babysitting Consultation: For overnight bookings, a thorough consultation is required before fully booking and will consist of your expectations of me, how often the baby is getting up for feedings, where necessary supplies are, and shift days and times.
*For consultations that leave either me, pet owners, parents/gaurdians uncomfortable or unhappy, we will NOT follow through with the booking, and I would happily recommend fellow sitters I know to potentially take over if we do not work out. (For date night babysitting bookings that do not require a full day before consultation, I will ask thorough questions before meeting for the sit over the phone/email, and we will go from there.
